Honda X Blade 160cc Bike Launched In India, Know Price And Features Here

Honda has launched its new bike X-Blade in India. Honda introduced X-Blade during Auto Expo 2018 after which the booking for the bike started.

The price of the new Honda X Blade is set to Rs 78,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Notably, its price is Rs 3,859 lesser than compared to CB Hornet 160R, which was priced at Rs 82,359 (ex-showroom). Honda has prepared X-Blade with keeping the youth in mind and that's why it has been made with an aggressive design. The company named it as 'Robo Face' and in the Indian market, it will be having competition with TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha SZ-RR and Hero Xtreme Sports.

The new X-Blade has a Taller Fly Screen, Underbelly Cowl, Chunky Grab Rails and a redesigned LED Tail Lamp. This new motorcycle has a fully digital console, which was also present in the Hornet. Although Gear Position Indicator, Service Indicator, Hazard Light and White Backlight has also been added to this bike.

Talking about the engine, it has a 162.7cc air-cooled motor like the CB Hornet 160R. However, this engine produces 13.9hp of power at 8,500rpm and torque of 13.9Nm at 6,000rpm. This engine has been connected with 5-speed gearbox for transmission.

X-Blade has provided 80/110 R17 and 130/70 R17 section tyres. For braking, there is a drum unit in back brake and disc brake its front. This new bike will be available in Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Frozen Silver, Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Marshall-Green Metallic Color Option for the customers.

Now, it will be interesting to see what reactions the bike gets from the market. Bookings for the X-Blade can be made from all Honda dealers across the country.
