Indian cricket team's fast pacer Mohammed Shami has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. His wife since 2014, Hasin Jahan had accused the player of infidelity, domestic assault and attempt to murder but Shami has rubbished all claims.

The estranged couple has been addressing the media individually and presenting their own stances to the public. However, Jahan's latest revelation has surely raised various eyebrows. After stating that she won't divorce Shami ever, she confirmed that the cricketer would have broken their marriage if she had not found his mobile phone.

She also claimed that after divorcing her, Shami was planning to run away. The heart-broken wife only wishes for her husband to apologise for his mistakes and reconcile but the player refuses to accept his wrongdoings. However, he has expressed his desire to "patch up".

"I tried to convince him that he should accept his mistake, I have been trying for very long. He would've run away to UP by now if I did not catch hold of that mobile phone, he would've divorced me till now if I did not have the mobile phone," said Jahan.

Notably, Shami's wife had uploaded various chat screenshots with girls and pictures from the mentioned mobile phone, she claims belongs to Shami but the player has refused to possess the gadget and keeps blaming the entire fiasco to a mere misunderstanding on Jahan's part.

Shami has said, "If this matter can be solved by talking, nothing can be better than that. Only patch up will do good for us and our daughter. If I have to go to Kolkata to solve the matter, I will. I am ready to talk, whenever she wants."

The cricketer has requested for the entire matter to be investigated thoroughly. Following which, Hasin asked, "Why didn't the media investigate even after I gave them all the details? Till the day I took to social media, I tried to convince him to save our marriage."

She further stated, "If he (Shami) tries to come back I may still consider." Jahan has filed an FIR in Kolkata Police Station against her husband who was charged in IPC section 498A for cruelty to a woman among other non-bailable and bailable sections.
