Delhi University Releases First Cut Off List

Delhi University released the cut-off list for undergraduate courses for the academic year 2018-19 on Monday. The cut-off list records a drop in required marks as compared to last year.

Lady Shri Ram College has the highest cut-off of 97.75 per cent in B.Com. (Hons) and 98.5 per cent in B.A. (Hons). Journalism (Hons) at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) is closed second at 98.50. Whereas Hindu College and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College registered the highest cut-off in the science stream. Bsc. (Hons) Physics and Bsc. (Hons) on computer science registered the highest percentage (i.e.98%) in Hindu College and Khalsa College respectively.

According to reports, more than 2,50,000 students registered for undergraduate courses in DU online. The competition would be high this year since there are total 56,000 seats in 61 colleges of the Delhi University.

The admission process and document verification for the students qualified in the first cut-off will commence on Monday and will continue till June 21. The second cut-off will be released on June 25 and the documentation will be done from 25 till 27th June.
