Sanya Malhotra won many hearts with her charming portrayal of Babita Kumari Phogat in Aamir Khan's blockbuster 'Dangal' and the pretty lady is all ready to make the admirers love her more with her next family drama.

Junglee Pictures recently announced their next project with 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' actor Ayushmann Khurrana, following which many speculations regarding the leading lady were making rounds.

In no mood to leave the fans dissatisfied, the makers have confirmed that Sanya Malhotra will romance the acclaimed actor in Amit Sharma's happy-go-lucky family-oriented film, which will reportedly go on floors from January next year.

Malhotra's close association with Aamir Khan post 'Dangal' has grabbed many opportunities for the actress including the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer 'Thugs of Hindostan' and a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, which is yet to be announced.

Aamir Khan's dance number 'Sexy Baliye' from his last release 'Secret Superstar' was also choreographed by the actress. Following the release of Dangal, Fatima Sana Shaikh grabbed many eyeballs but Sanaya was secured from the haters' eyes.

When asked if the sudden popularity bothers her, she answered, "Actually not. I am still the same. I can go outside and be comfortable. I don't say that I don't care, but it's fine if I am going out in shorts. I am not that fashion conscious."

Film's co-producer, Priti Shahani has earlier said, "Our release for this year, Bareilly Ki Barfi, received much love from the audience. It has been fantastic working with Ayushmann and we are now looking forward to collaborating with him again on Badhaai Ho."

Reportedly, director Amit Sharma has been working on the concept and story for past two-and-a-half years with his writers Akshat Ghildial and Shantanu Srivastava. Co-incidentally, his idea matched the one of Priti Shahani's next, which led them to collaborate.
