Law & Justice, Information Technology Minister of India Ravi Shankar Prasad in a press conference on Friday slammed the Congress Party's leaders for their remarks on the Indian army. He accused Congress Leader Gulam Nabi Azad of insulting the Indian army for saying that the army kills more civilians than the terrorists.

The BJP leader said that the statement is irresponsible, shameful and regretful. BJP also claimed that terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba backed the Congress view on Kashmir and quoted LeT as saying "we have been of the same opinion as of Gulam Nabi Azad and others."

Prasad also slammed Saifuddin Soz for the remark Soz made in his book. While addressing a media briefing Soz had said, “Musharraf said Kashmiris don't want to merge with Pakistan, their first choice is independence. The statement was true then and remains true now also. I say the same but I know that it is not possible.”

Prasad said that most of the statements made by Congress Parties are highly praised by terrorist organizations and ministers of Pakistan who support terrorism. He claimed that Tariq Hameed Karra, who joined Congress recently, is famous for speaking the language of Pakistan.

The BJP leader demanded Congress Party to take action against Gulam Nabi Azad.
