Case Register Against Hyderabad BJP MLA Raja Singh For Hurting Religious Sentiments

The BJP MLA Raja Singh who is always in controversies has now been booked for a case for allegedly hurting religious sentiments through a video posted on social media. The case has been filed at the Falaknuma Police Station in Hyderabad. 

The MLA, in a video posted on the social networking site, said that Iftar parties were hosted by leaders who beg for votes. He further said that he would not attend any such party.

Well known for such disputable statements he said, “Those who attend the Iftar are beggars for votes.”  

"Some religions and their religious books preach to kill Hindus as they are 'Kafir'. How can I attend an Iftar or host one for those who talk of killing Hindus?" he reportedly said.

Singh claimed that green book is responsible for the terrorism in India and should be banned. He also said that the secularist Hindus were responsible for Mughal and British rule in India. 

A case has been filed under section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code in the Falaknuma Police Station. S Satyanarayana, south zone DCP said, “We will ask him for explanation and take appropriate action, the comments he made on Monday might disturb the ambience of Ramzan.”
