Lara Dutta has been crowned as one of the most beautiful women in the universe and she is known to be little different from a typical Bollywood actress. Not only is she blessed with looks and brains, Lara is one of the classiest ladies in showbiz. Lara Dutta turns 40 on Monday and that’s quite a challenge to believe.

The model-turned-actress, is one of the few beauty queens who sashayed down the ramp and then straight into cine buffs’ hearts successfully. Lara's distinguished personality put her on the list of well-respected actresses of Bollywood.

Lara Dutta is the daughter of L.K. Dutta, a retired Wing Commander and Jennifer Dutta. She has two elder sisters – Sabrina and Cheryl. Lara moved to Bangalore along with her family in 1981 and completed her schooling there. The beauty queen has not taken retirement from acting yet and has been enjoying the quiet life with her husband, Mahesh Bhupathi and 6-year-old daughter, Saira.

Lara was last seen in Fitoor and Azhar, which released in 2016 and in Welcome To New York this year in a brief appearance. However, she is back in the limelight through her latest gig on the small screen.
