WhatsApp's recently introduced “Delete for Everyone” feature has now got a new update. The latest WhatsApp beta (v2.18.69) will unwind the time set for reviewing a message sent to a contact, or in a group. It will now offer Android users a chance to erase a message for everyone under 4,096 seconds or 68 minutes as reported on Friday.

The new feature is currently made available for Android and Windows users as pointed out by WA Beta Info. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is working on a new update for iOS users as well.

The “Delete for Everyone” was introduced by WhatsApp last year in November which allowed the users to delete a sent message within 420 seconds or 7 minutes.

An addition was made to the instant messaging platform to allow the users to delete the message accidentally sent to a wrong contact or a group.

Apart from the extended timeframe, the beta update also fixes the gif section crash and modifies some Emojis in stickers.

WhatsApp is also reportedly working on a new ‘Forwarded message’ feature to make the receiver aware that the sender has forwarded it from a different chat or group, or even from the same chat.
