US President Donald Trump has often made headlines for his reputation among ladies. His love life has always grabbed eyeballs for various reasons and the latest one was just added to the list when reports of his "fix-it man" aka advocate Michael Cohen paying a hefty amount to cover up his boss' one sexual encounter.

Cohen reportedly paid the former porn star Stephanie Clifford $130,000 right before the 2016 presidential elections to keep mum about her 2006 sexual encounter with the then-Republican candidate at Lake Tahoe, California. Notably, Trump was already married to his third wife Melania during the time of reference.

As per the Wall Street Journal reports, the payment was made to a client-trust account at City National Bank in Los Angeles. However, the rumours were dismissed by both Cohen and Stormy individually after the reports resurfaced on Friday. A White House official suggested, "these are old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election."

"These rumours have circulated time and again since 2011. President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence, as has Ms Daniels," Cohen told the Washington Post. Michael came to light when his emails to Russian officials were investigated due to the Russian meddling during the 2016 election.

Stormy Daniels stated, "Rumours that I have received hush money from Donald Trump are completely false." The former adult star's statement further added, "If indeed I did have a relationship with Donald Trump, trust me, you wouldn't be reading about it in the news, you would be reading about it in my book."
